J. Christopher Lopez is a freelance design director. He lives and works in sunny Los Angeles, CA. He primarily designs for feature film and broadcast projects, usually collaborating with individual clients, design studios, ad agencies, production companies, visual fx companies, rock/electronic musicians, and feature film directors.

His independent and commercial work has been exhibited and published internationally including these national design publications and institutions: The Art Directors Club, Type Directors Club, AICP, I.D. Magazine, AIGA 365 and the Museum of Modern Art, NYC.

He holds a MFA degree from the Cranbrook Academy of Art Bloomfield Hills, MI and a BFA from the Otis College of Art and Design Los Angeles, CA. He has been an adjunct professor at the College for Creative Studies Detroit, MI and The Art Center College of Design Pasadena, CA.
